All racers must complete a waiver before race day. Sign online in advance to speed up check-in. Parents and guardians must sign for minor participants.

Required Gear
Mandatory for Every Racer
- Backpack to carry required gear
- Properly fitted bike helmet (CPSC- or ASTM-certified) — no full-face helmets
- Bike with knobby tires, no training wheels, and in good working order
- Check the brakes
- Set the saddle to the correct height before race day
- Light snack for mid-race
- Closed-toe athletic or trail shoes — no sandals
- Shoes will get wet and dirty
- Racers may not change shoes during the race
- Water bottle or hydration pack
- Signed race-day waiver
- Trail gloves
- Waterproof jacket — mandatory at every race
- Adventure racers should always come prepared for changing conditions in the wilderness
- Small first-aid kit (bandages, Neosporin, wipes)
- Ziplock bag to protect the race map
Recommended
- A change of clothes for afterwards — you will get wet!

- Change of clothes and shoes, you will be wet
Large ziplock bag for your map - We will provide zipblock bags for maps on race day.
Harnesses and personal flotation devices (PFDs) are provided at the race venue. Racers are welcome and encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
